The 12 Best Disney Sweet Snacks at Disney World Florida

By  |

Hey Guys!

It’s no secret that I’m a huge Disney fan and what is even more obvious to us Disney fans is that everything at Disney World is fabulous. There are so many reasons it’s one of my most favourite places in the world. Not only have I traveled there multiple times,  five times to DisneyLand Paris and once now to DisneyWorld Florida. One of the things people talk about after they’ve been to Disneyworld, is the food!!

I had fun trying all the different types of food at Disneyworld, from snack carts to five star restaurants.  Disney food is one of the best parts about the parks.

Here’s a list of my absolute favourite Disney snacks you absolutely have to try next time you’re there!

The Mickey Ice Cream Bar is a classic Disney treat. Creamy vanilla ice cream is surrounded by a yummy Mickey chocolate shell.

Where to find it: Ice cream carts around each of the four main parks. As well at the Disney Resort hotels.

In London we don’t have cupcake ATMs. So, I was super excited at discovering this one one that dispenses cupcakes. The Cupcake ATM is in addition to the Sprinkles bakery, which has a  pretty cool menu. From red velvet to salted caramel and carrot cake, these cupcakes are phenomenal.

Where to find it: Sprinkles (Disney Springs)

Another popular Disney treat, is the Mickey Pretzel. The salty soft pretzel is delicious on its own or even better with its various toppings, I loved mine dipped in hot cheese. Everything tastes better in a Mickey shape!!

Where to find it: Snacks carts in any of the main parks.

One of the prettiest snacks you’ll find at Disney World is the Candy Apple. They come in so many different options, with chocolate, caramel, and lots of other toppings. The way in which these are made is  a true work of art. I had so much fun watching them being made!

Where to find it: Main Street Confectionery (Main Street USA, Magic Kingdom), Sweet Spells (Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Studios), Goofy’s Candy Company (Disney Springs), Big Top Souvenirs (Circus, Magic Kingdom)

Dole Whip – You cannot come to Disney and not try this creamy, fruity delight! I love Pineapple so this was a wonderful treat.

An absolute MUST try!  It’s the most refreshing soft serve treat you will ever have.

Where to find it: Aloha Isle (Adventureland – Magic Kingdom), Pineapple Lanai (The Polynesian Resort), Tamu Tamu Refreshments (Africa – Animal Kingdom)

Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie TreatsIf you like Rice Krispies, you’ll be happy to know, you will find no shortage of Rice Krispie Treats in the Parks.  They are available in several gift shops and stores, as well as in a couple resort stores.  However among my favourites are the ones sold in the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom.

Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae – Guys, this sundae is as wild as it looks!  I’m talking EXTREME ice cream (which is reflected in the huge price tag at $23 plus tax). I suppose the fact that you get  the souvenir Mickey sink to take home, makes it somewhat enticing.  There is plenty of ice cream for two share.!!!  Find this huge concoction at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street.  You can get also get this same treat at the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club Resort.  Same price but it comes with a Brownie and Oreos plus  extra toppings!

The foot long churro, is another classic Disney snack. Crispy dough rolled in cinnamon sugar with a chocolate dipping sauce. Seriously guys, What more could you want?!

Where to find it: Anaheim Produce (Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Studios) and at various stalls around each of the four parks

Mickey Cinnamon Roll, is exactly what it sounds like. The classic cinnamon roll but in a mickey shape. Let me tell you, It just makes it taste so much better!!!

Where to find it: Main Street Bakery (Main  Street, Magic Kingdom)

Le’fou’s brew, is a frozen apple juice with marshmallow syrup topped with a mango, passion fruit foam. Delicious!!  What is even better is that you get to keep the souvenir cups!

Where to find it: Gaston’s Tavern (Magic Kingdom)

If you’re from the UK then this American classic Funnel Cake will be a real treat!! (As we don’t have them here!) The cookies ‘n cream funnel cake is even better, topped with your choice of icing sugar, chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream and other yummy options. You can even take the experience home, with a funnel cake gift kit!

Werther’s Caramel Popcorn, Presented by Werther’s Original, Karamell-Küche (or Caramel Kitchen) is a shop along World Showcase promenade in  that’s filled with delicious caramel-themed treats. There are pre-packaged goodies from Werther’s Original such creamy caramel-filled hard candy, or soft caramels made with real butter and fresh cream.

Where to find it: Get it from Karamell Kuche (Epcot – Germany Pavilion)
